Wratislavia Trumpet Consort (Igor Cecocho, Sławomir Cichor, Artur Erenfeld, Paweł Spychała) – zespół złożony z utalentowanych trębaczy młodego pokolenia, których liderem i kierownikiem muzycznym jest prof. Igor Cecocho, jeden z najprężniej działających polskich trębaczy-solistów. Zespół prezentuje muzykę róznych epok i stylów, wykorzystując przekrój instrumentarium łącznie z instrumentami historycznymi z epoki baroku./ – ensemble consisting of talented trumpeters of the younger generation, led by its music director, Prof. Igor Cecocho, one of Poland's most dynamic solo trumpet players. The ensemble presents music from many different periods and styles, making use of varied instrumentation which includes historical Baroque instruments.

 

Igor Cecocho [trąbka / trumpet] – absolwent Białoruskiej Akademii Muzycznej w Mińsku, laureat wielu konkursów trąbkowych. Obecnie wykładowca Akademii Muzycznej we Wrocławiu i Łodzi. Koncertuje w kraju i zagranicą, grając na trąbkach współczesnych i historycznych, zarówno jako solista, jak i kameralista. Współpracował z wieloma wybitnymi muzykami m.in: E. Kirkby, C. Steele-Perkins, P. Esswood, G. Keith. Dokonał wielu solowych nagrań radiowych, telewizyjnych oraz płytowych. / He has graduated from the Belorussian Academy of Music in Minsk; winner of numerous trumpet competitions. At present he is a lecturer in the Music Academies in Wrocław and Łódź. The musician performs in Poland and abroad on both contemporary and historical trumpets, solo and in chamber ensembles. He has collaborated with such outstanding artists as E. Kirkby, C. Steele-Perkins, P. Esswood, G. Keith, and others. He has made a number of solo recordings for the radio, TV and record companies.

 

Piotr Rojek [organy / organ] – absolwent Akademii Muzycznej im. Karola Lipińskiego we Wrocławiu, w klasie organów prof. Andrzeja Chorosińskiego i kompozycji w klasie prof. Zygmunta Herembeszty. Laureat konkursów organowych i kompozytorskich. W chwili obecnej jest adiunktem we wrocławskiej Akademii Muzycznej. Prowadzi działalność koncertową w kraju i za granicą. Ma w dorobku nagrania archiwalne dokonane dla Rozgłośni Polskiego Radia i Telewizji Polskiej oraz płytę CD. Jest także dyrektorem artystycznym Festiwali Organowych (Oleśnica, Wołów, Wrocław, Zagorzyce Górne). / He has graduated from the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, from Prof. Andrzej Chorosiński's organ class and Prof. Zygmunt Herembeszta's composition class. Winner of competitions for organ players and composers. Presently he is a lecturer in the Academy of Music in Wrocław. He gives performances in Poland and abroad. He has made many archive recordings for The Polish Radio and TV and released a CD. He is also the artistic director of Organ Festivals in Oleśnica, Wołów, Wrocław, and Zagorzyce Górne.

Andrzej Bauer [wiolonczela / cello] – zwycięzca Międzynarodowego Konkursu ARD w Monachium oraz laureat Międzynarodowego Konkursu „Praska Wiosna” i nagrody Parlamentu Europy i Rady Europejskiej. Studiował pod kierunkiem Kazimierza Michalika w Łodzi i Williama Pleetha w Londynie. Konceruje w kraju i zagranicą. Ma na swoim koncie nagrania dla wielu polskich i zagranicznych rozgłośni radiowych i stacji telewizyjnych oraz płyty CD, z ktorych jedna (Suity wiolonczelowe Bacha) otrzymała nagrodę „Fryderyk 2000”. Wykonuje obszerny repertuar zawierający wiele dzieł muzyki nowej i najnowszej, w tym utwory specjalnie dla niego skomponowane. / The winner of international competitions: ARD in Munich and Prague Spring, as well as the European Parliament and European Council Awards. He studied with Kazimierz Michalik in Łódź and with William Pleeth in London. He gives performances in Poland and abroad, and records for numerous Polish and foreign radio and TV broadcasters, as well as on CDs. One of his albums (with Bach's Cello Suites) won the "Fryderyk 2000" award of the Polish music record industry. His vast repertoire includes many compositions of new music and most recent works, including pieces specially composed for him.

Bartosz Jakubczak [organy / organ] – ukończył Warszawską Akademię Muzyczną w klasie organów prof. Andrzeja Chorosińskiego oraz studia podyplomowe w Royal Academy of Music w Londynie w klasie prof. Davida Titteringtona. Jest laureatem wielu nagród przyznanych przez Royal Academy of Music oraz nagrody konkursu bachowskiego w Lozannie Prix de la Presse. Brał udział w wielu prestiżowych festiwalach, m.in: w Wielkiej Brytanii. Obecnie pełni funkcję asystenta na warszawskiej uczelni. Jest również kierownikiem artystycznym Festiwalu Ars Musica w Iwoniczu. / He has graduated from Warsaw's Academy of Music (now - the F. Chopin University of Music) after organ studies with Prof. Andrzej Chorosiński and completed postgraduate studies with Prof. David Titterington in the Royal Academy of Music in London. Winner of numerous awards granted by the Royal Academy of Music as well as the Prix de la Presse in the Bach Competition in Lausanne. He has played at many prestigious festivals in Great Britain and elsewhere. At present he is an assistant lecturer in Warsaw's F. Chopin University of Music. He also acts as the artistic director of the Ars Musica Festival in Iwonicz.

Justyna Stępień [sopran / soprano] – solistka Warszawskiej Opery Kameralnej, gdzie jest wykonawczynią pierwszoplanowych partii w operach Mozarta, Haendla, Donizettiego. Ukończyła studia wokalne na warszawskiej uczelni pod kierunkiem prof. Alicji Dankowskiej-Prawdzic. Występowała na scenie Teatru Wielkiego-Opery Narodowej. Prowadzi także ożywioną działalnosc koncertową, śpiewając m.in. w Filharmonii Narodowej, Filharmonii Bałtyckiej, Filharmonii Świętokrzyskiej, Filharmonii w Łodzi, w Studio Koncertowym Polskiego Radia. / A soloist in Warsaw Chamber Opera, where she sings major roles in operas by Mozart, Handel and Donizetti. She completed vocal studies with Prof. Alicja Dankowska-Prawdzic at Warsaw's Academy of Music. She has also performed in the Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw and frequently in concert in Polish philharmonic halls in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Kielce and Łódź, as well as the Polish Radio Concert Studio.

 

Dymitr Makarevich [trąbka / trumpet] – absolwent Białoruskiej Akademii Muzycznej w Mińsku w klasie prof. N. Wołkowa. Laureat wielu rosyjskich konkursów w kategorii gry na trąbce. Obecnie jest muzykiem trębaczem (I głos) w Orkiestrze Symfonicznej Opery i Filharmonii Podlaskiej w Białymstoku. Prowadzi także aktywną działalność koncertową jako solista. / He has graduated from the Belorussian Academy of Music in Minsk after studies with Prof. N. Volkov. Winner of numerous awards for trumpet playing in music competitions in Russia. At present he plays the 1st trumpet in the Podlaska Opera and Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. He also gives regular solo performances.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CON FORZA (Michał Jarmuła – I skrzypce / first violin, Katarzyna Paciorkiewicz-Jarmuła – II skrzypce / second violin, Katarzyna Borzucka – altówka / viola, Maciej Skowroński – wiolonczela / cello) – kwartet smyczkowy tworzą muzycy związani z czołowymi polskimi orkiestrami. Od chwili powstania prowadzi intensywną działalność koncertową. Repertuar zespołu obejmuje utwory od muzyki poważnej do muzyki popularnej, a nawet rozrywkowej, dzięki czemu znajduje uznanie w różnych kręgach słuchaczy.

 

 

/ String Quartet consists of musicians from leading Polish orchestras. Ever since its foundation, the quartet has followed a busy concert schedule, playing both classical and popular music, which brought the musicians recognition among many different kinds of audience.

Rafał Siwek [bas / bass] – debiutował na scenie Warszawskiej Opery Kameralnej. Od kilku lat występuje w najbardziej prestiżowych salach i teatrach operowych Europy, m.in: w Concertgebouw w Amsterdamie, Accademia di Santa Cecilia w Rzymie, Theatre du Chatelet w Paryżu, Beethovenfest w Bonn, Operze Królewskiej i Palais des Beaux Arts w Brukseli, Operze Lille, Operze Luksemburg, Savonlinna Festival. Wspólpracuje z doskonałymi orkiestrami, pod batutą m.in: S. Bychkova, Z. Mehty, L. Maazela. Ma na swoim koncie wiele nagrań, w tym: Requiem Verdiego (pod kierunkiem Zubina Mehty i Lorina Maazela), Edgara Pucciniego u boku Plácido Domingo. / After a debut in Warsaw Chamber Opera, his career has taken him in the last few years to the most important concert halls and operatic theatres in Europe, incl. the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, Beethovenfest in Bonn, the Royal Opera and Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels, Lille Opera, the Opera in Luxembourg, and the Savonlinna Festival. He has collaborated with outstanding orchestras conducted by such masters of the baton as S. Bychkov, Z. Mehta and L. Maazel. Among his numerous CD recordings, there are Verdi's Requiem (cond. by Zubin Mehta and Lorin Maazel) and Puccini's Edgar (where his partner was Plácido Domingo).

 

Magdalena Andreew [sopran / soprano] – ukończyła z wyróżnieniem warszawska uczelnię muzyczną w klasie prof. Haliny Słonickiej. Była solistką Warszawskiej Opery Kameralnej oraz występowała na scenie Teatru Wielkiego-Opery Narodowej. Artystka wykonuje również repertuar oratoryjno-kameralny. Ma w swoim dorobku nagrania utworów kompozytorów współczesnych (Jacka Grudnia, Mariana Sawy i Weroniki Ratusińskiej) dla Polskiego Radia. Towarzyszyła Kałudiemu Kałudowowi w nagraniu płyty Ave Maria. / She has graduated with an honours degree from Warsaw's Academy of Music after studies with Prof. Halina Słonicka. She has been a soloist in Warsaw Chamber Opera and given performances in the Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw. Her repertoire also includes large-scale vocal-instrumental concert forms as well as chamber music. For the Polish Radio, she has recorded works by contemporary Polish composers (Jacek Grudzień, Marian Sawa and Weronika Ratusińska). She also appears with Kaludi Kaludov on the CD Ave Maria.

Jan Bokszczanin [organy / organ] – doktor sztuki, menadżer kultury. Studiował pod kierunkiem prof. Joachima Grubicha na warszawskiej Akademii Muzycznej im. Fryderyka Chopina oraz prof. Jesse E. Eschbacha na Universit of North Texas (USA). Koncertuje w kraju i zagranicą. Ma na swoim koncie 10 płyt CD, z czego 4 to płyty solowe. Jest dyrektorem artystycznym kilku festiwali muzycznych. Jest też redaktorem licznych publikacji nutowych. Od 2006 roku członek zarządu Towarzystwa im. Mariana Sawy. / He studied with Prof. Joachim Grubich at Warsaw's Academy of Music and Prof. Jesse E. Eschbach at the University of North Texas (USA). He gives performances in Poland and abroad. He has recorded 10 CDs, including four solo albums. He is also the artistic director of several music festivals, and editor of numerous sheet music publications. Since 2006 - member of the Board of the Marian Sawa Society.

Urszula Jasiecka-Bury [organy / organ] – ukończyła katowicką Akademię Muzyczną w klasie organów prof. Juliana Gembalskiego oraz w klasie klawesynu prof. Marka Toporowskiego. Laureatka III nagrody na Ogólnopolskim Konkursie Organowym w Rumii (2000). Jako solistka i kameralistka występowała na licznych festiwalach w Polsce oraz za granicą. Od 2001 roku współtworzy Zespół Muzyki Dawnej „Parnassos”, który zajał II miejsce na konkursie muzyki barokowej w Wuppertal (Niemcy). / She has graduated from the Academy of Music in Katowice after organ studies with Prof. Julian Gembalski and harpsichord studies with Prof. Marek Toporowski. 3rd prize winner in the National Organ Competition in Rumia (2000). As a soloist and chamber musician, she has taken part in numerous festivals in Poland and abroad. Since 2001 - member of "Parnassos" Early Music Ensemble, which won the 2nd prize in the Chamber Music Competition in Wuppertal (Germany).

 

PARNASSOS (Martyna Pastuszka – skrzypce / violin, Adam Pastuszka – skrzypce / violin, Teresa Kamińska – wiolonczela / cello, Urszula Jasiecka-Bury – klawesyn / harpsichord, Mariusz Bury – teorba) – zespół tworzą absolwenci katowickiej Akademii Muzycznej. Zdobywcy II nagrody (wraz z sopranistką Karoliną Brachman i lutnistą Christophem Barthem) na konkursie muzyki kameralnej "Concerto Barocco" w Wuppertal. Koncertują w kraju i zagranicą. We wrześniu 2007 roku zespół wydał wraz Karoliną Brachman płytę z repertuarem XVII i XVIII-wiecznym. / The ensemble, consisting of Katowice Academy of Music graduates, received the 2nd prize (together with the soprano Karolina Brachman and the lutenist Christoph Barth) in the Chamber Music Competition "Concerto Barocco" in Wuppertal. The musicians give concerts in Poland and abroad. In September 2007, the a CD was released featuring "Parnassos" and Karolina Brachman in 17th- and 18th-century repertoire.

Katarzyna Olszewska [organy / organ] – ukończyła gdańską Akademię Muzyczną im. Stanisława Moniuszki w klasie organów prof. Romana Peruckiego. Od 1992 roku jest organistką Katedry w Gdańsku-Oliwie. Prowadzi ożywioną działalność koncertową zaróno jako solistka, jak i kameralistka. W swoim dorobku artystycznym posiada liczne nagrania radiowe i telewizyjne oraz płytę CD nagraną wraz z innymi muzykami „Wielkie Organy Archikatedry w Gdańsku Oliwie” (nominacja do Nagrody FRYDERYK 2006). / She has graduated from the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk after organ studies with prof. Roman Perucki. since 1992 - organist in the Oliwa Cathedral in Gdańsk. She regularly gives performances as a soloist and chamber musician. She has made numerous recordings for the radio and television and taken part in the recording of the CD "The Great Organ of the Metropolitan Cathedral in Gdańsk-Oliwa" (nominated for the "Fryderyk 2006" award).

Krzysztof Meisinger [gitara / guitar] – laureat wielu ogólnopolskich i międzynarodowych konkursów gitarowych (m.in.: w Przemyślu I miejsce, 2001, Łodzi I miejsce, 2006). Występuje w kraju i za granicą grając recitale solowe, muzykę kameralną oraz z wieloma orkiestrami (m.in: „AMADEUS”, Orkiestrą Kameralną Filharmonii Narodowej w Warszawie, Orkiestrą Symfoniczną Filharmonii Narodowej Ukrainy, Orkiestrą „LEOPOLDINUM”, „Capellą Bydgostiensis”). / A winner of numerous national and international guitar competitions (e.g. in Przemyśl - 1st prize, 2001; in Łódź - 1st prize, 2006). He regularly performs in Poland and abroad - solo, in chamber ensembles, and with numerous orchestras (such as the "Amadeus" Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, "Leopoldinum", "Capella Bydgostiensis", and others).

Elżbieta Włosek-Żurawiecka [organy / organ] – absolwentka Akademii Muzycznej im. Karola Szymanowskiego w Katowicach w klasie organów Prof.Juliana Gembalskiego .W Latach 1993/94 odbyła uzupełniające studia podyplomowe w Konserwatorium Muzycznym w Toulouse (Francja). Prowadzi działalność koncertową w kraju i zagranicą jako solistka i kameralistka. Zajmuje sie również pedagogiką. / She has graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice after organ studies with Prof. Julian Gembalski. In 1993-94, she completed postgraduate studies in the Music Conservatory in Toulouse, France. She regularly gives performances in Poland and abroad as a soloist and chamber musician. She is also active as a teacher.

SONORUS QUARTET (Grzegorz Lalek – I skrzypce / first violin, Juliusz Żurawski – II skrzypce / second violin, Marcin Stefaniuk – altówka / viola, Tomasz Frycz – wiolonczela / cello) – pierwszy w Polsce kwartet smyczkowy wykonujący muzykę epoki klasycyzmu i wczesnego romantyzmu na instrumentach dawnych w zgodzie z praktyką historyczną. Tworzą go muzycy, którzy są członkami orkiestry Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense przy Warszawskiej Operze Kameralnej, współpracujący także z wieloma zespołami muzyki dawnej (m.in. Concerto Polacco, Harmonologia, Wrocławską Orkiestrą Barokową). / Poland's first string quartet performing the music of Classicism and early Romanticism on period instruments and in agreement with historical practice. The quartet consists of musicians who perform in the Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense orchestra of Warsaw Chamber Opera and collaborate with many other ensembles (such as Concerto Polacco, Harmonologia, Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, and others).

Jesse E Eschbach (USA) [organy / organ] – jest profesorem organów w jednej z najbardziej prestiżowych i największych szkół muzycznych w USA, University of North Texas. Studia muzyczne odbył m.in. w Paryżu pod kierunkiem Marie-Clair Alain oraz Marie-Madeleine Duruflé. Koncertował w wielu krajach Europy, a także w Stanach Zjednoczonych Ameryki i Kanadzie. Zasiada w jury wielu konkursów organowych. Dokonał kilkunastu nagrań na płyty CD dla tak prestiżowych wytwórni jak: RAVEN, SONUS LUXQUE i wielu innych. Profesor Jesse Eschbach jest autorem kilkuset artykułów, a także kompleksowego opracowania porównawczego wszystkich instrumentów organmistrza Aristide Cavaille-Coll. / He is a professor of the organ in one of the largest and most prestigious American music academies - the University of North Texas. He studied, among others, in Paris with Marie-Clair Alain and Marie-Madeleine Duruflé. He has given performances in many European countries, the United States and Canada. He serves on the juries of numerous organ competitions. The artist has recorded more than a dozen CD under such well known labels as Raven, Sonus Luxque, and others. Professor Jesse Eschbach has written several hundred research papers as well as a comprehensive comparative study of all the instruments built by the organ builder Aristide Cavaille-Coll.

dr Irena Bieńkowska - muzykolog, adiunkt w Katedrze Historii Muzyki Polskiej Instytutu Muzykologii Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Wspólpracowała z Programem II Polskiego Radia prowadząc cykle programów. Jej specjalnością naukową jest muzyka średniowiecza i renesansu, muzyka staropolska ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zagadnień mecenatu muzycznego.
